Winter Party that Never Was Now Will Be!

Remember how I mentioned that Christmas Party that I intended on hosting at first? Then I got grounded because my mom hates technology almost as much as she does fantasy? Well, before I have my "last day", I wanna host this! And I really hope I don't miss my own event as I have been doing the past couple of events-

This was the one in the past-

A big difference... kinda.

Well, anyways- I hope to see you there! Because it just may be the last event I'm in... because the odds of me quitting do seem likely at this rate. However, to those who actually do take the time to read this- here's the deal, one of the reasons I'm quitting soon is because there's NOTHING Wizards related to BLOG about. But if I just so happen to get a gift card or something, or enough money- I'll see if I can continue this. So there's a chance that I may continue- take this quote for example:

"There is always a chance of something happening or someone being something. Sometimes it may not be very great, but there's always a chance. The choice is whether or not to expand that chance."
          - Nicholas Ashwielder, TNM Part 9

Yeah, I guess I'm the author of that.

Well, see ya! And

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Leave No Stone Unturned....

About the last post... I was serious. I am quitting blogging soon- either that, or a VERY long break.
Anyways, I've been listening "If Today Was Your Last Day" a lot lately. Part of the lyrics is Leave No Stone Unturned.
So before I go, I may as well tie up some loose ends. I definately have to finish TNM. And all rumors about a second TNM.... they were true... at first. Now I look back and see how much time I commited to Necromancer's Matter. I really don't know if I can do a sequel anymore- I really need to move onto new projects. Ideas are coming at me left and right, and I just... I can't make another Wizard101 fanfic commitment. The Drakes may go unfinished. Mage and Warlock will go unfinished.
Second- this may as well last through the WHOLE of 2010. I'll probably lay down my arms in 2011. I'm sorry- it's just- I can't afford Wizard101 anymore. It's, quite frankly, that or my literacy self. I may log on there from time to time, but I'll mostly not be on anymore.
Third- for those who've been reading this almost as long as this has been up, remember the attempted Christmas Party in 2009 and then Cody and I got grounded until Christmas? Well, I'm kinda hoping to make that happen, to fulfill that, I guess.
So those are the things I want to do before I go. Because this isn't an "Omigosh my life sucks eggs and I want to quit I hate everything around me!!!" This is an "I'm kinda unsure about this and I want to take action about it before it grows out of hand."

It's Only a Matter of Time, Like It Or Not...

I know that the post after the anniversary post should be happy and cheerful and all, but I talked about something with two of my closest blogger friends a week or two ago. Their names I no give out, sorry. I just want to keep it that way for some reason.

I'm gonna make my point this way- first off, on Wizard101Central there is the Elite Authors in the Stories and Poetry section. The author of the Elite Authors thread wrote something to symbolize those Elites who had left. I'll repeat it on this blog, Kay5101 being the author of this-

So go, my friend, and follow the footsteps of your predecessors. We are all destined to leave this place one day. We do not know when, and we do not know how, but none the less, it will come. And on that day, you will walk the path many others have. I hope you do not fear that day, because there is nothing to fear. You will know that you have left this place better than when it began. So let us celebrate those who have passed before us, and look forward to our own day, to when we too will become...Legendary.

This is true not only for Elite Authors, but bloggers as well. Someday, like it or not, we're all going to leave the blogosphere. Maybe when we grow bored of Wizards, maybe as we mature into adults, perhaps as long till death. So make your mark, and make your mark fast. Here's a song I really like- please listen to it before proceeding in this post.

And now here's the lyrics to that song- read it through.

My best friend gave me the best advice
He said each day's a gift and not a given right
Leave no stone unturned, leave your fears behind
And try to take the path less traveled by
That first step you take is the longest stride

If today was your last day and tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last
Leave old pictures in the past?
Donate every dime you had, if today was your last day?
What if, what if, if today was your last day?

Against the grain should be a way of life
What's worth the price is always worth the fight
Every second counts 'cause there's no second try
So live like you're never living twice
Don't take the free ride in your own life

If today was your last day and tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last?
Leave old pictures in the past?
Donate every dime you had?

And would you call those friends you never see?
Reminisce old memories?
[From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/n/nickelback-lyrics/if-today-was-your-last-day-lyrics.html]
Would you forgive your enemies?
And would you find that one you're dreaming of?
Swear up and down to God above
That you'd finally fall in love if today was your last day?

If today was your last day
Would you make your mark by mending a broken heart?
You know it's never too late to shoot for the stars
Regardless of who you are

So do whatever it takes
'Cause you can't rewind a moment in this life
Let nothing stand in your way
'Cause the hands of time are never on your side

If today was your last day and tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last?
Leave old pictures in the past?
Donate every dime you had?

And would you call those friends you never see?
Reminisce old memories?
Would you forgive your enemies?
And would you find that one you're dreaming of
Swear up and down to God above
That you'd finally fall in love if today was your last day?

Act like today was your last day. Like you wouldn't live it twice. Would you make your mark?
Let nothing stand in your way. Live each moment like your last. Do whatever it takes.
Act like today was your last day...
Soon, every blogger has a time. That time will be their last day.

And so, what I'm trying to say is...

That time... for me, that time, that last day... may be coming soon.
